I'm running for the Chino Valley Unified School District Board because it's time to re-focus on our youth. Educating the students of the Chino Valley, protecting the continued attack on the Special Education fund, and avoiding further cuts in the classrooms (including teacher positions) must become top priorities. We must seek accountability and put forth strong efforts to get more of our high school students enrolled in higher education.
Our children deserve better;
- I will advocate for parents, students, and teachers to ensure that their needs are met in every aspect that relates to the education of all CVUSD children.
- I will seek ways to raise the academic performance of our under-performing schools by asking for the direct involvement of teachers and parents for the benefit of students.
- I will consider all solutions that could provide fiscal strength to the district and limits further cuts to much needed educational programs.
